Google宣布，Google云平台服务Cloud Platform增加对Microsoft License Mobility、Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition以及Chrome RDP的支持。
加入对Microsoft License Mobility的支持，能让用户在不增加额外授权费的条件下，将使用中的Windows服务器及其运行应用迁移至Google云平台。
Google同时也加入了对服务器OS Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition的支持，但目前仍属测试版。对Windows Server 2012和Windows Server 2012 R2的支持也在开发中。
Google在自己的云平台中开发对微软产品的支持，是因为现在仍有很多用户会使用Windows服务器来提供服务。当然，用户在迁移过程中需要接受额外的使用条款，需要仔细阅读。
